Northern Counties Club
About Northern Counties Club
The Club sits in Grainger Town, the historical commercial centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, sporting some of the most beautiful buildings in the city.
It's a discreet haven from city life - a place to meet, eat and stay.
The club was founded to provide food - and you can enjoy breakfast and lunch in the members dining room. The ambiance is elegant, gracious and harks to a world less hurried.
If you want to stay, the club has eight bedrooms that a perfect for short overnight stays or even longer. They are tasteful, calm and classically English and equipped with all the modern facilities you would expect in a club of this stature.
The city is a stopping -off point for journeys elsewhere, particularly between London and Edinburgh. So why not take a break? The club will store your luggage while you freshen up and enjoy lunch.
If you time your visit you can enjoy one of the club's occasional lectures or celelebrations.
The club offers a warm welcome to all reciprocal visitors so come and visit in 2023!
